Page 106 Heaven mental state- Majh Mahalla 5- ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਲਹਣਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਗਹਣਾ ॥ O God, from You I receive; You are my decoration. ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਦੇਹਿ ਸੋਈ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਹਣਾ ॥ Whatever You give me, brings me happiness. ਜਿਥੈ ਰਖਹਿ ਬੈਕੁੰਠੁ ਤਿਥਾਈ ਤੂੰ ਸਭਨਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥ Wherever You keep me, is heaven. You are the Cherisher of all. ||3|| Page 182 Realms- Gauri Mahalla 5- ਬਿਆਪਤ ਹਰਖ ਸੋਗ ਬਿਸਥਾਰ ॥ It torments us with the expression of pleasure and pain. ਬਿਆਪਤ ਸੁਰਗ ਨਰਕ ਅਵਤਾਰ ॥ It torments us through incarnations in heaven and hell. ਬਿਆਪਤ ਧਨ ਨਿਰਧਨ ਪੇਖਿ ਸੋਭਾ ॥ It is seen to afflict the rich, the poor and the glorious. ਮੂਲੁ ਬਿਆਧੀ ਬਿਆਪਸਿ ਲੋਭਾ ॥੧॥ The source of this illness which torments us is greed. ||1|| Page 210 Hell womb- Gauri Mahalla 5- ਗਰਭ ਕੁੰਡ ਨਰਕ ਤੇ ਰਾਖੈ ਭਵਜਲੁ ਪਾਰਿ ਉਤਾਰੇ ॥ He saves us from the hellish pit of the womb, and carries us across the terrifying world-ocean. ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਆਰਾਧਤ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥੨॥ Adoring His Lotus Feet in the mind, the fear of death is banished. ||2|| Page 297 Hell mental state- Gauri Mahalla 5- ਮੋਹ ਭਰਮ ਬੂਡਤ ਘਣੋ ਮਹਾ ਨਰਕ ਮਹਿ ਵਾਸ ॥ So many are being drowned in emotional attachment and doubt; they dwell in the most horrible hell. ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਆਸ ॥੩॥ Please bless me with Your Mercy, God, and save me! Nanak places his hopes in You. ||3|| Page 971 Liberation Heaven- Ramkali Kabeer ji- ਜਿਹ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਹੋਇ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦੁਆਰੁ ॥ Remembering Him in meditation, the door of liberation is found. ਜਾਹਿ ਬੈਕੁੰਠਿ ਨਹੀ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ ॥ You shall go to heaven, and not return to this earth. ਨਿਰਭਉ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਬਜਾਵਹਿ ਤੂਰ ॥ In the home of the Fearless Lord, the celestial trumpets resound. ਅਨਹਦ ਬਜਹਿ ਸਦਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ॥੧॥ The unstruck sound current will vibrate and resonate forever. ||1||
